myFiles does not need any installation.
myFiles can be set up to run from a Floppy or USB Flash Drive.

myFiles recognizes it's own Drive while runs from Removable Media though the Drive Letter may change from machine to machine.
 
  With the program you can :
        Rename Files
        Rename and Copy Files
        Copy Files and Rename the copies only
        Move and Rename Files
        Copy Files
        Move Files
        Set Attribute of Files
        Delete Files
  And do it on multiple files at once.
Make it easy using Easy Process option for single file processing.

myFiles does not Rename using any Meta data, such as, ID3 Tag etc.
 
  
  Renaming Options :

Extension : Change
Space : Remove | Replace with a Character or a String
Case : Change :: File Name | First letter | First Letter of all words

All instances of a Character or a String :
Remove | Change as Space | Replace with a Character or a String
 
  Insert :: Text
    At start or end of file names.
    After or before a number of Character.
    After or before a String (1st instance from start of file names).
 
  Replace :: Name | String (1st instance from start of file names).
Replace :: Number of Characters
    From start or end of file names.
    After or before a number of Character.
    After or before a String (1st instance from start of file names).
 
  Remove :: String (1st instance from start of file names).
Remove :: Number of Characters
    From start or end of file names.
    After or before a number of Character.
    After or before a String (1st instance from start of file names).
 
  Auto :: Number | Letter (Alphabet)
    Select any Number | Letter to start from.
    Insert upto 4 leading 0 (zero) in starting Number
    or make starting Letter combination of upto 3 Letters.

    Insert Auto generated Number | Letter :
       At start or end of file names.
       After or before a number of Character.
       After or before a String (1st instance from start of names).
 
        
  File Selection Options :

Default file selection option is Manual.
Files also can be selected in the working folder on following selection criteria : All Files | Number of Files | By String | By Extension

A limit can be set for maximum number of files to be selected.
A number of files can be skiped before starting selection.
On set options files can be selected automatically on Folder change.
 
       
  myFiles will check for possible conflict.
If found, progarm will let you unselect the conflicting files or change your other options to remove possibility of conflict.
Program will unselect the conflicting files if you choose so.
 
  Before taking final Action, if Renaming, the Program will show the Preview of new names otherwise will show a List of selected files with an option to cancel the Action.

Other than Delete any Action can be undone until next Action or until Exit from the Program, whichever comes first.
